Eve Edelheit is a staff photo editor at The New York Times on the digital desk. She focuses on editing breaking news and curating photography presentations for the home page. After growing up in Minneapolis, Eve studied photojournalism at the University of Missouri and The Danish School of Journalism. She was based in St. Petersburg, Florida for 10 years, first as a staff photographer at the Tampa Bay Times and then as a freelance photographer. She volunteered with the Eddie Adams and APhotoADay workshops and was previously on the executive board of directors of the National Press Photographers Association. Eve recently moved to Brooklyn, with her husband Kit, and their two-year-old daughter, Ruth and dog Mazel.
