Selection of Applicants

Participants of The Kalish are selected for their diverse levels of experience in picture editing, video editing, design, management and leadership. Scholarships are available as part of the application process below.

Note: The Kalish focuses on storytelling through visual judgment, not use of technology. However, you should have basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere, InDesign and Photo Mechanic.

The Kalish is no longer accepting applications for the 2025 workshop.

NOTE: The application deadline is 11:59pm EST on March 1, 2025. The Kalish tuition is $899. Applications require a $100 deposit due once you have successfully submitted your application. See the payment page for details. Notification of workshop acceptance will be made via email by April 1, 2025. Deposits will be refunded for those who will not be attending the workshop. The tuition balance for 2025 participants is due by April 15, 2025.
