Selection of Applicants

Participants of The Kalish are selected for their diverse levels of experience in picture editing, video editing, design, management and leadership. Scholarships are available as part of the application process below.

Note: The Kalish focuses on storytelling through visual judgment, not use of technology. However, you should have basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere, InDesign and Photo Mechanic.

NOTE: The application deadline is 11:59pm EST on March 1, 2024. The registration fee is $899. Applications require a refundable $100 deposit due once you have successfully submitted your application. See the Payment page for details. Notification of acceptance to the workshop will be made via email by April 1, 2024. The remaining balance will be due by April 15, 2024.
