Tanner Curtis

Tanner Curtis is a Styles photo editor at The New York Times. He works on a range of stories from profiles to parties as well as a variety of visual features. For the last two years he was a co-editor of The Times's Year in Pictures collection. Before Styles, he was the Politics photo editor for the 2020 presidential and 2018 midterm elections. Tanner joined The Times in 2014 on the National desk. He previously worked at TIME.com as an Associate Picture Editor and studied photojournalism at Western Kentucky University in his home state.
