Staff Sgt. Madeline Herzog is Air Combat Command Headquarters Public Affairs Specialist, Joint Base
Langley-Eustis, VA. She is a liaison for the directorates and provides advice and counsel on all communication efforts. She also provides guidance and mentorship to Public Affairs Airmen across 35
wings. The command operates more than 1,000 aircraft, 35 wings, 11 bases, and 1,348 units at more
than 300 operating locations worldwide with 159,000 total force military and civilian personnel. As the
Combat Air Forces lead agent, ACC develops strategy, doctrine, concepts, tactics and procedures for air-, space-, and cyber-power employment. The command provides conventional and information warfare forces to all unified commands to ensure air, space, cyber, and information superiority for warfighters and national decision-makers. SSgt Herzog entered the Air Force in February 2018. She has served in Texas, Maryland and South Carolina, as well as overseas in England, Poland and Ukraine, and in South America in St. Lucia, Mexico and Colombia. She has deployed to Ramstein, Germany, in support of medical, logistic, and Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions in Niger, Kenya, Italy and Djibouti.
