Kristen McNicholas

Kristen McNicholas is a photo editor and independent visual consultant who is currently a Visiting Lecturer in the Photography program at the Rochester Institute of Technology teaching courses across multiple disciplines including photojournalism, visual media, and photo sciences. Previously, she’s worked at Newsweek across print and digital platforms, Discovery Communications on the Photo Services desk, National Geographic with the Your Shot photo community. In her spare time, she can be found working through her reading list or a puzzle, visiting antique shops, perfecting her snickerdoodle recipe, and watching TV with her spouse and 5 pets.
