Matt Mallams

Matt Mallams works as the Director of Photography for Hana Hou! the Magazine of Hawaiian Airlines, his focus is to share authentic portrayals of Hawai‘i through documentary photography that’s captured by the top visual journalists working in the Pacific. As an avid street photographer and artist he has a creative eye and a passion for visual storytelling that is evident in his editing aesthetic. He’s a graduate of the Visual Journalism program at the Brooks Institute of Photography. When he's not working with photographs, he enjoys creating new pages for his visual journal, skateboarding under the bridge at the Makiki Skatepark and spending time with his wife and two kids at their home in East O‘ahu.
