Dan Hernandez

Dan Hernandez is a photo editor and archivist who joined the San Francisco Chronicle in 2025. He works daily in the Chronicle archive, sifting through decades of photos on film negatives and compact discs, while also editing photos for news stories and supporting the visuals team at-large. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University where he studied photojournalism and business administration.
