Eli Imadali (he/him) is a visual journalist at Oregon Public Broadcasting telling stories through photography and videography. Throughout his career, his visual reporting has focused on policy impacts, injustice and marginalization, immigrant communities, culture and identity, and more.
Before OPB, Imadali was freelance visual journalist in Denver working with publications like The New York Times, ProPublica, The Wall Street Journal, High Country News and The Denver Post. He taught visual journalism at The University of Colorado Boulder and guest taught at various photojournalism workshops.
Originally from Arizona, Eli graduated from the University of Montana School of Journalism in 2019. When he’s without a camera, he loves biking, food and cooking, plants, backpacking and basketball.
