Henry Taylor

My name is Henry and I am currently a staff photo and video journalist at the Post and Courier in Charleston, South Carolina. Alongside all the daily work I do for the outlet I like to focus my craft on humanity's relationship with the natural world and the consequences of industry we construct to rival it. I also like to explore reporting around housing, faith, and the end of life. I've bounced between states and outlets on my journey to where I am now but was born a Michigander and grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I've been enamored with the outdoors for my entire life so paddling, hiking and feeling the texture of rocks and petals and animals are a few of my happy places. Rain or shine. For years my dog Kai and my green Subaru Outback have been constants in my life and I've recently gotten into powerlifting. I try to maximize every day I get in this beautiful life of ours and I can't wait to do the same at The Kalish.
