Vanessa Castillo is an Executive Assistant for Content Operations, supporting newsroom logistics at National Public Radio with over 15 years of photography and visual storytelling experience. She earned her BA in Journalism with a Minor in Creative Writing from Washington Adventist University. Prior to her time at NPR she built a diverse freelance portfolio and served as a photographer for a local radio station. Additionally, she has supported National Geographic Society's Image Collections department on image licenses and distribution.
