Confessions of a Swiss Army knife: The needed competencies
of visual editors
What makes a great visual editor? Part therapist..counselor...traffic cop...Swiss Army knife...coach...juggler...entrepreneur. Join Dr. Martin Smith-Rodden, professor at Ball State University and Kalish faculty, to explore the traits of high performers - professional, communication, management, leadership and entrepreneurial. “There’s a lot to say about each of these - especially the last one - so we will discuss the findings to help people navigate their current situations,” Smith-Rodden said.
Kalish faculty member Chloe Coleman, of The Washington Post, will moderate the discussion. Kalish director Sue Morrow will introduce the session.
