Thomas A. Price has been the photojournalism sequence coordinator at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. since 1997. During that time the program has become recognized as one of the top photojournalism programs in the
country. During a 21-year career at The News-Press in Fort Myers, FL as photographer, picture editor and Director of Photography, he was recognized by the Robert Kennedy Journalism Awards (Grand prize & First prize print); the National Headliners Awards; Best of Gannett; Associated Press Managing Editors; National Press Photographers Association; Florida Society of Newspaper Editors; and the Florida Press Club among others. He is listed in Who’s Who in America and International Who’s Who of Information Technology. His work has been
published in more than 40 international, national and regional publications. Price researches in the areas of new media, freelance business practices, and readers reactions to photographs and design.
