"I am a multimedia producer, editor and photojournalist currently teaching as an assistant professor in the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University, instructing courses in beginning and advanced audio and video
storytelling, picture editing, information architecture, user experience, mobile user experience, and formerly Flash and Actionscript 3.0. Outside of teaching, I freelance, produce and pitch multimedia and photojournalism projects to news outlets and for non-profits.

"Previously a multimedia editor and staff photographer at The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia, I also interned at The Herald in Jasper, Indiana and The Courier-Press in Evansville, Indiana. I received my undergraduate
degree in photojournalism from Ohio University, and have a M.S. in New Media from Syracuse University."
