Erin Sutherland

Videographer and Editor, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW)

Erin Sutherland is a videographer/editor/photographer/designer for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), an international labor union, for the last 10 years. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband Scott, two extremely loud, exceptionally cute kids - Margo (6.5) and Zachary (3.5) - and crazy 12-year-old puppy Amber. She's a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and a former intern at NPR in Washington, DC and The Seattle Times. When she's not traveling the country telling stories of the union's members and projects, she loves to bake sourdough bread, pretend to be great at gardening, run 5Ks around the neighborhood, and just survived living without a kitchen for nearly 15 weeks. The pandemic has kept her grounded from travels for the last two years, so she's excited to learn from everyone here at the Kalish Workshop and get re-invigorated about our craft.
